Ladybug Studio XP

Ladybug Studio XP is a suite for shader development on games and real-time cinematic computing. Media Control Language (mCL) supports DirectX 9.0 and HLSL for the generation of cinematic effects and video composition. The Integrated Development Environment (IDE) with editor, debugger, and compiler can help developers for rapid development of shaders. Finally, Ladybug Runtime XP allows shaders to be deployed in binary and executable formats.

Ladybug Studio XP consists of an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for Media Control Language (mCL). The IDE includes an index viewer; a script editor; a keyword wizard; a syntax checker; a debugger; a bytecode compiler; and a mCL engine. You can use wizard to generate mCL codes, preview effects, and make changes.

The mCL scripts can be used alone with Database, Languages, and Browser. You can insert a mCL script object into the PowerPoint and demonstrate the video presentation. You can also add scripts into a Word document and an Excel cell. Moreover you can build video database with the mCL scripts in the Access and other Databases. You may call scripts with languages as the VB, C++, and Java. Finally you can use mCL scripts with an Internet browser.

Ladybug Studio XP supports DirectX 9.0 for 3D Graphics. It allows you to develop new generation shaders and applications with object-oriented mCL, HLSL, and Assembly Shader Language.

Today's graphic hardware has envolved from fixed-function to programmable chips. Nvidia's GeForce FX and ATI's Radeon are GPUs based on new architectures. Their main features are programmable vertex and pixel shader as well as the float point precision of color. Except the fast rendering speed these two features make photorealistic picture rendering in real-time possible. And soon the GPU will reach the rate of 10,000 dinosaurs per second. The fast GPUs and 64-bit processors bring you to the era of cinematic computing ( The Future of 3D Graphics ).

Programming needs languages. High-level languages allow you pay more attention on the innovation and let machines to finish computing jobs. Medai Control Language (mCL) is an object-oriented high-level language for media computing. mCL is fast to learn, easy to use, and rapid to development. You can use mCL to construct a player for video, audio, and graphics playback. In addition, you can design and test special effects of a shader described by mCL script. Finally, you can create real-time 3D animation with mCL program.

HLSL is a High-Level Shading Languages for GPU programming. Like language C, it is fast, effective, and powerful for media computing. mCL supports HLSL and Assembly Shader Language for shader programming.
